Residence Le Nid, özel bir manzarada yer almaktadır. Buna göre, yol kenarındaki opak ikincil hacimler, görkemli manzaraya bakan yaşam alanlarının mahremiyetini korumaya yöneliktir. Araziye girerken, yapı neredeyse hiç fark edilmiyor; tüm bitki örtüsü korunmuş ve ahşap dış cephenin rengi, yakındaki ağaçların kabuğunun rengiyle uyumludur. Yapı, erişim yolunun altında bulunan dar bir yamaçta zarif bir şekilde oturuyor ve bir ağaçtaki bir kuş yuvası gibi erişilemez yanılsaması yaratıyor.
EN: The house is built on a shared private drive; therefore the more opaque secondary volumes are geared towards safeguarding the privacy of living rooms facing the magnificent landscape. The structure is hardly visible when approaching the site: all mature foliage has been retained, and the color of the wooden exterior blends in with the color of the bark on the surrounding trees. The house lies delicately underneath the access road on a narrow escarpment, giving the appearance of inaccessibility, like a bird's nest in a tree.
